Dunkademics was founded in 2011 by Billy Doran — the 2009 YouTube Slam Dunk Contest champion and ESPN-featured dunker — to document the best dunkers in the world before the world knew who they were.

Since then, Dunkademics has filmed over 30,000 dunks, building the largest freestyle dunk video archive of its kind, shared daily across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and Snapchat alongside Billy's own commentary and breakdowns.

As Seen On — Dunkademics has been featured on ESPN, Bleacher Report, and House of Highlights. Billy has been featured in multiple Jesser YouTube videos, and Dunkademics clips have been featured in a MrBeast video.
