DunkMan League Debuts July 21 on TNT — Meet Group A

Professional dunking finally has its own league.

On July 21, 2026, the DunkMan League tips off at 8PM ET on TNT. It’s the biggest thing to happen to competitive dunking since Shaq’s original Dunk King series. Twenty-four of the best dunkers alive are competing, split into four group stages. All of them are chasing a $500,000 grand prize at the World Championship on August 25.

Meet Group A

Group A is easily the most competitive of all the group stages. It features Cam Hazzard, who has been absolutely flying in dunk sessions recently, and Dengxing Chen, the Chinese high flyer who has been crushing dunk contests overseas.

Rounding out the group are 2013 College Slam Dunk Contest champion, Doug Anderson, International dunk champ, Joel Henry, one foot phenom, Jonathan Edwards, and Olympic Silver Medalist, Shelby McEwen

Our Prediction

Still, I personally think Cam Hazzard is going to crush his first appearance on national TV and take home the Group A victory. In recent sessions with me, he showed explosiveness, consistency, and a “wow” factor that’s impossible to ignore!

Every dunker in Group A, the six going head-to-head on debut night, already has a full profile in our archive:

How It Works

24 athletes, four groups of six, go head-to-head across four stages running through August 11. The four group winners advance automatically to the World Championship. They’re joined by the next four highest scores across every group — eight finalists, one champion, $500,000.

Every event airs 8PM ET at Overtime Elite Arena in Atlanta, live on TNT, TBS, truTV and HBO Max.

We’ll be covering every stage right here — follow along. Browse the full Pro Dunkers roster and the complete DunkMan League schedule for the rest of the field.
