Ethan Owens

Ethan Owens is a 6’2” two-foot dunker from North Texas. He plants left-right and his signature is the 360 scoop.

The scoop is a dunk where the ball is carried low and swung up underneath the rim rather than brought over the top. Brandon LaCue claims to have originated the scoop family. Doing it out of a full rotation puts the scoop inside the spin.

He is an athlete for THP Strength.

Dunkademics has filmed him at Dunk Camp and included him in its 2025 year-end best-dunks compilation. Dunk Camp is the annual gathering that brings most of the serious dunkers in the United States into one gym for a week.
