We built the Dunker Rankings page so fans could settle the “who’s actually the best” argument themselves instead of leaving it to us. 85 fan submissions in, there’s a clear leader, but the gap at the top is razor thin.
How the Rankings Work
It’s simple: you drag all 36 dunkers on the ballot into your own best-to-worst order and submit. Whoever you put in the #1 spot earns 36 points, your #2 pick earns 35, and so on down to 1 point for last place. Every submission gets added into one running leaderboard, so the more fans vote, the more the rankings reflect the community as a whole instead of any one person’s opinion. You can revote once every 24 hours if you change your mind, so the list is never really “final,” it’s a living scoreboard.
Who’s On Top Right Now
With 85 ballots counted, here’s how the top of the board shakes out, and it is tight. Only 32 points separate 1st place from 4th.
Isaiah Rivera holds the #1 spot with 2,732 points. A lot of people consider him the best active freestyle dunker alive, pairing a 50.5-inch tested vertical with maybe the most creative dunk package in the sport, including his signature 360 Behind-the-Back Between-the-Legs.
Right behind him is Donovan Hawkins at #2 with 2,727 points, just 5 back. Donovan never played organized basketball growing up, he was a hockey player until his teens, and he’s built his entire game around under-both-legs scorpion combinations without ever needing a prop or a push-off dunk to make an impact.
Jordan Kilganon sits at #3 with 2,710 points. By most accounts he’s the greatest dunker of all time, the inventor of over 300 dunks, and the reigning DUNKMAN champion after winning the inaugural series and its $200,000 prize in December 2025.
#4 is Cam Hazzard with 2,700 points, the biggest riser on the board. Known in the community as “Hazardous Dunks,” the 20-year-old from Dallas tested a 50-inch vertical just three weeks after coming back from hand surgery, and he’s built a bag of 360 variations that few dunkers on the planet can match. Cam also won Group A of DunkMan – Now ready for the finals at a chance for $500,000
Rounding out the top 5 is Mattia Meneghini at #5 with 2,499 points, fresh off winning the Jordan Brand dunk contest at Jordan House. The FIBA World Dunk Tour champion is one of the best one-foot dunkers in the world, and it looks like fans have taken notice.
