Elijah Bonds

Elijah Bonds is a 6’1” two-foot dunker who plants left-right.

He turns up across a lot of the channel’s session footage, usually in rooms carrying the top of the roster: Tyler Currie and Isaiah Rivera in one, Chris Staples and Antonio Eaglan in another, and Andrew McFly in the session built around McFly windmilling at 5’4”.

One session is built around a dunk of his instead: a Kick-Up, hit on a lowered rim. Lowering the rim is standard practice for working out a new trick, because it buys the extra tenths of a second the movement needs before it is ready at ten feet.

He has also been filmed at the Venice Beach dunk contest, one of the longest-running outdoor dunk events in the United States, and appears in the Dunkademics 2024 year-end best-dunks compilation. The channel puts out a best-dunks compilation at the end of every year, drawn from everything it filmed.
