Finn Addy is a professional one-foot dunker from Ontario, Canada. Known as the 1FootDisciple, he is 6'1" with an 8'1.5" standing reach and a 43" vertical off a single left foot, and his signature is the 360 Eastbay.
He did not grow up on basketball. Soccer and hockey came first, and he did not switch over until seventh grade. What turned him toward dunking specifically was finding Steven Selby's videos online and watching an ordinary 5'10" guy build himself into an Eastbay dunker. That was the proof he needed that the ceiling was not fixed at birth, and he decided to chase the same path. His first dunk came at sixteen.
His first Dunk Camp in 2022 said a lot about what he actually had. He tested a 39" vertical there having done no leg training whatsoever, which meant the number was pure jumping ability and one-foot specialization rather than anything built in a weight room. Most people arrive at that figure the long way around.
The breakthrough came at Dunk Camp 2024 in Utah, where he won the ten foot dunk contest. That win took him straight to the FIBA 3x3 World Tour dunk contest in Edmonton, where he competed against Donovan Hawkins and Brandon Ruffin in front of a live crowd, a significant step up from filming sessions in an empty gym. He now trains alongside Jordan Kilganon.
