Muhammed Lamin Sanyang, who dunks as MedBrodie, is from Brikama in the West Coast Division of Gambia and competes out of Türkiye. FIBA carries him with a Turkish nationality and a Gambian country of origin at the same time, and ranks him in both, so both are correct rather than one being a correction of the other.
He won the second BHS dunk show in Izmir on August 5, 2023, taking the title out of an eight-dunker field in front of a crowd of several thousand at the Karsiyaka Bostanli court. The dunker he beat in that final was Dmytro Kryvenko of Ukraine.
He came back for BHS 3 in Izmir in July 2025 and finished runner-up. Jordan Kilganon took the title off him in the final, though Sanyang won his one-on-one round at the same event. At BHS 4 in Istanbul in July 2026 he captained one of the teams without winning the contest, which went to the Italian dunker Mattia Meneghini.
BHS is the event series run by Brotherhood Squad Türkiye, and Sanyang is one of its resident dunkers alongside the sponsorship it runs with the Turkish sneaker retailer Sneaks Up. He also plays 3x3 in Türkiye, with a first-place finish at the SOMA Belediyesi Kara Elmas event in September 2024, and he sells a jump program of his own.
His reach is the widest of anyone in this group. His Instagram sits north of 140,000 followers and his YouTube channel, running since January 2018, is over 119,000 subscribers, both built on session footage rather than contest results. The three BHS appearances are the competitive record; the audience came from the everyday clips.
