Mattia Meneghini, who competes as TDKTia, is an Italian dunker and the current BHS world dunk contest champion.
He won that title in Istanbul on July 25, 2026, at the fourth edition of the BHS dunk show, judged by a panel that included Jordan Kilganon and the former Turkish international Sinan Guler. It is the largest event on his record and it came at the end of a three-week stretch in which he competed almost every weekend.
Three weeks earlier, on July 4, he was at the DKB contest in Fiorenzuola d’Arda and finished joint fourth in a field won by Chen Dengxing, ahead of Chris Staples and level with Danylo Kazantsev of Ukraine. He was the only Italian in that lineup. Around July 9 he lost a head-to-head at the Giardini Margherita playground in Bologna to Benjamin Okyere Nyanney, in a matchup Italian coverage framed as spectacle against technique, with Meneghini cast as the technician.
On July 19 he was one of three finalists at To The Tower, staged at the Castel Beseno fortress in Trentino in front of around 1,800 people, where several dunks scored a perfect 50. Mounir Konate won it, with Meneghini and Luca Mastropasqua the other two finalists.
Four contests in a month across three countries, with one win, one final, one joint-fourth and one head-to-head loss, is a fair summary of where he sits: consistently in the last group standing, and now with a world title in Istanbul to point at.
