Travis Reynolds is a 22-year-old professional dunker from North Carolina and a DunkMan League athlete, widely recognized as one of the most analytical and consistent dunkers in the community. He made his name with the behind-the-back, a dunk he chased on a low rim every single session for ten straight months in 2020 before finally landing it, and to this day half the comments on his videos are some version of Mr. Behind The Back.
Travis grew up a self-described chubby kid who got bit by the jumping bug around age 11 and never looked back. He landed his first dunk in April 2018 at 15, then spent a year and a half stuck as a one and two-hand dunker before his knees gave out at the end of 2019. Joining THP Strength changed everything: he cleaned up his diet, cut roughly 40 pounds from 210 down to 170 by mid-2020, added real strength work, and watched his trick-dunk bag finally open up with windmills, tomahawks, and the Eastbay elbow.
Known throughout the community for his precision, Travis laser-measures the rim in nearly every session and posts the exact height in his captions, a habit rooted in keeping his training data honest. He anchors the North Carolina Dunk Squad and produces some of the highest-quality dunk content in the sport. Off camera, he co-hosts the Dunk Talk podcast alongside Dylan Haugen, breaking down the dunk world with the athletes shaping it.
