Marcus Driscoll

Marcus Driscoll, who goes by Bones, is a 6’6” dunker from Chesapeake, Virginia, and a Harlem Globetrotter. His signature is the 360 Windmill.

The Harlem Globetrotters have toured continuously since 1926 and run well over a hundred dates a year. It is one of the few full-time paid jobs in dunking.

Dunkademics filmed him at the Venice Beach dunk contest, one of the longest-running outdoor dunk events in the country, in the contest built around Chris Staples against Ty Jackson. Hyrum Fechser and Elijah Bonds were also there.

Venice Beach is an outdoor court in front of a walk-up crowd, which is closer to Globetrotter work than a gym session is — the rim is whatever it is, and the attempt happens in front of people either way.
